In 1986, Tracy Porter was born in Port Allen, Louisiana and played college football at Indiana.
Tracy Porter was picked in the 2nd round of the NFL draft by the Saints.
In his rookie season in 2008, Tracy Porter played in five games before being placed on injured reserve with a dislocated his wrist.
In the NFC Championship game on January 24, 2010, Tracy Porter forced a fumble and intercepted a pass from the Minnesota Vikings QB, Brett Favre, with less than a minute left in regulation, sending the game to overtime where the Saints prevailed 31-28.
On February 6, 2010, in Super Bowl XLIV vs. the Indianapolis Colts, Tracy Porter intercepted Peyton Manning in the final minutes of the game & returned 74 yards for a touchdown (pick-6), ending the Colts' hopes of a comeback and sealing New Orleans' first Super Bowl victory.
