October 14, 2008 - Terrance Copper was cut by the New Orleans Saints, having been with the New Orleans Saints since being claimed off waivers from Dallas Cowboys before the 2006 season. During the 2006 season, Terrance Copper played in 15 games (4 starts) for the New Orleans Saints, finishing the 2006 season with 23 receptions for 385 yards, and 3 touchdowns. In 35 regular season games with New Orleans, Copper caught 38 passes for 511 yards and five touchdowns and added 15 tackles on special teams. Terrance Copper played in two postseason contests with the New Orleans Saints, catching four passes for 32 yards. In the 2007 season, Terrance Copper played in five of the team’s six games but did not record a reception.

March 27, 2007 - The Saints re-signed wide receiver Terrance Copper to a one-year contract. Copper is a possible replacement for Joe Horn in the starting lineup. Terrance was a restricted free agent after his third NFL season.

The 6 feet, 207 pounds, East Carolina alumuni, Terrance Copper joined the Saints in the first week of last season (September 4th) after being waived by the Dallas Cowboys. Terrance caught a career-high 23 passes for 385 yards (16.7-yard average) and three touchdowns as Joe Horn's primary backup, starting four regular-season games and two playoff games when Joe Horn was grounded with a groin injury.
