Drew Brees MVP!

Happy Lombardi Gras!

Tracy Porter intercepts Payton Manning to clench the Saints Superbowl win!

February 7, 2010 - Miami, Florida. World Champion New Orleans Saints! The Saints win the Superbowl, defeating the Indianapolis Colts 31 - 17. The Saints won convencingly with outstanding defense and solid offensive play. Superbowl MVP, Quarterback Drew Brees, had two (2) touchdown passes and zero (0) interceptions. Both offensive lines played outstanding with only one sack given up in the game, with Drew Brees getting sacked by Colts Defensive-End Dwight Freeney midway through the 2nd quarter. The Saints had outstanding special teams play, with the Saints recovering the on-sides kick on the 2nd half kickoff & three (3) field-goals by Garrett Hartley! It was a great win for the Saints, but you gotta give Payton Manning & the Colts credit for playing a good game, winning the stats in total offense 432 to 339 yards. The difference was the Saints defense, standing up strong at some key moments in todays game & intercepting Payton Manning to clench the victory, with a Tracy Porter pick-6 for a touchdown.

Hell Froze Over!

New Orleans Saints NFC Champions vs Minnesota Vikings 31 - 28

Pigs have flown. Hell has frozen over. The Saints are going to the SUPERBOWL!

January 24, 2010 - NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana. Pigs Fly & Hell Froze Over! The Saints are going to the Superbowl. The Saints are NFC Champions, beating the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 31 - 28 in Drew Orleans, Lou-Brees-iana. The Saints won the football game in over-time on a 40 yard field-goal by Garrett Hartley! It was ridiculous with the number of turn-overs! The Saints should have starting putting the game away, but the Vikes kept hanging around. The Vikes couldn't hold onto the ball & their offensive line looked like they were going to get Brett Favre killed. It really looked like a retirement party in the Superdome for #4. It was a great win for the Saints, but you gotta give Brett Favre credit for being one tough customer, sorry he goes out on an interception, but glad to see the Saints in the Super Bowl!

Jim Henderson: "IT'S GOOD, IT'S GOOD, IT'S GOOD!!! PIGS HAVE FLOWN!! HELL HAS FROZEN OVER!!! THE SAINTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL"!!!

Bobby Hebert should be picking out a dress and heels tomorrow! After the NFC Title Game, former Saints quarterback, Bobby Hebert said, "The freaking Saints are going to the Superbowl! Hell ya! We going to Miami, baby. It was the Saints destiny to go the the Superbowl. The Who Dat Nation deserves this win! In honor of Buddy D, hell yes, I'm wearing a dress!"

French Quarter: Over-heard on Bourbon Street: "Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Just unbelievable!!! Who dat?!!! Unbelievable!" ... from the mouth of a True Dat drunken Saints fan!!!!

Old QBs: Warner, Farve: Who Dat nation is NO country for OLD MEN! McCray and Ayodele SPANKED them!

Referees: The refs made equally bad calls on both sides of the ball. The referees did NOT decide the outcome of the game ... it was Favre.

Jared Allen?

Where was Minnesota Viking defensive end, #69, Jared Allen?

New Orleans offensive tackle, #74, Jermon Bushrod, kept Jerod Allen in his place all night! Allen never got to Drew Brees and only accounted for two (2) defensive tackles all night for the Vikings. Our hats-off to Jermon Bushrod. Way to go Jermon!

January 17, 2010 - Minneapolis, Minnesota. Say good-night Cowboys. The Saints are America's team!!! The Minnesota Vikings dominate the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 34 - 3. Come on Vikes & bring your ear protection. Uffda is nothing compared to Katrina. The noise created inside the Superdome is comparable to a jackhammer right near your ear or an i-Pod turned up to the max. Your ears will be bleeding at 120 db bitch!

New Orleans Saints beat Arizona Cardinals 45-14

New Orleans Saints defense & special teams are superb as Reggie Bush shines bright

New Orleans Saints will host Minnesota Vikings next

January 16, 2010 - NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana. "So much for being rusty. Obviously, pleased with the way they played. I thought in all three phases, we did a good job," Coach Sean Payton said in his opening statement after the Saints 45 - 14 win over defending NFC Champion Arizona Cardinals in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. One of the game commentators said the defensive line were "hunting". True! Coach Sean Payton must have put the defense in lockdown for the past month, feeding them red meat! The Saints defense & special teams were awesome! Drew Brees looks fantastic! Brees is making quarterback and Saints history. The flea-flicker to Devery Henderson was incredible! The Cardinals #25 was no match for #12, Marques Colston. Wide receiver Marques Colston caught some clutch catches today. Reggie Bush is once again playing for real. Reggie looked like Gayle Jim Brown Barry Sanders Sayers! Shockey is a wildman. Love dem Boys! Darren Sharper is a season fave. We love to watch him do his thing! The Saints time of possession was 13 minutes more than the Cardinals. It was a great game for the Saints!

New Orleans Saints defeat Arizona Cardinals 45 - 14
On the TV pregame show, 6 out of 7 ESPNers picked the Saints to win. The only one who picked against us? Ditka! Proving once again that he's always been a bumbling IDIOT and that he never had any loyalty to this city or the team. At Buddy's Broads, some of us were expecting a Saints win by 10+, others by 6 or 7. Happily, we underestimated the Saints power!

During his post-game radio show, Bobby Hebert said, "If the Saints make it to the Superbowl, I'm wearing a dress and high heels, but I'm not walking in all the Mardi Gras parades, only one parade in the French Quarter and I'm only walking about a block." Bobby went on to say jokingly, "Every woman loves a man who is in touch with his feminine side." About the offensive, Bobby said, "The offensive line was perfect, no sacks on Drew Brees."

Next weekend, the Saints advance to the NFC Championship to face the winner of the Cowboys - Vikings game. Tomorrow's Cowboy - Vikings game will be great! Whoever wins will have a tough fight in the Superdome because the New Orleans Saints are for real!
