New Orleans Saints lose to Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 - 27

December 2, 2007 - NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana. Who's worse? Sean Payton or Reggie Bush? Coach Sean Payton called one very bad play in the New Orleans Saints 23 - 27 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Reggie Bush is over-rated and makes the easy things look very hard. Even though the play shouldn't have been called, Reggie Bush should have been able to execute the football trick-play. Reggie Bush should be able to perform like a "professional" football player.

New Orleans Saints defeat Carolina Panthers 31 - 6

November 25, 2007 - NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana. New Orleans Saints beat the Carolina Panthers 31 - 6. The bottom line is: if you win the give-away / take-away battle, then you win the game. In 10 out of 11 games this season, this is the case. The only anomoly was the New Orleans Saints victory over the Atlanta Falcons, where they lost the turn-over battle (0:1), but won the game. If the New Orleans Saints break even in the turn over battle, then they win the game. The New Orleans Saints win-ability is directly proportional to the New Orleans Saints turn-over ratio.

New Orleans Saints lose to Houston Texans 10 - 23

November 18, 2007 - New Orleans Saints lose to the Houston Texans 10 - 23. The Saints are in dire need for a running game. Maybe we should introduce Sean Payton to Pierre Thomas?

New Orleans Saints lose to St Louis Rams 29 - 37

November 11, 2007 - New Orleans Saints lose to the St Louis Rams 29 - 37. Welcome back Coach Jim Haslett!

New Orleans Saints defeat Jacksonville Jaguars 41 - 24

November 4, 2007 - New Orleans Saints win! 41 - 24 vs Jacksonville Jaguars. Welcome back Jack Del Rio!

How tough is it going to be to get the New Orleans Saints to the SuperBowl? Would it be difficult for the New Orleans Saints to go 12 - 4 this season? All they have to do is win-out ... the New Orleans Saints only would have to win the rest of their games this season; only eight more!

How hard is it to play professional football? If you ask Kansas City Running Back, Larry Johnson, he'll tell you that it's not hard at all. Of course, plenty of players and coaches sell everything as complex. It makes them seem smarter, wiser and more complex. Larry Johnson says it's just not so. "It's not a chess game," he said, dismissing the common football analogy. "It's checkers. When they're looking for the run, you pass. When they're looking for the pass, you run. When they put nine guys in the box, you pass. When they overload to one side, you run to the other side."

Larry Johnson said, "I learned a long time ago about coaches. They're always going to do what they want to do. It's usually an ego thing rather than trying to be better. Football is easy. It's not a chess game, it's checkers, not chess. Coaches make it out as more complicated than it should be. Sometimes coaches make it so difficult during a game, like it's trigonometry, 'If this guy moves two feet back or this guy slides over six feet, we've got to do this or do that.' In the game, it never happens that way. It's common sense.

Later, Larry Johnson said, "It's like they try to boil it down to make it seem like, all right, if this guy moves back 5 inches and this guy over here moves to the right two steps, then we have to go here with it. If not, we gotta go this way. It's not as hard as you make it. Sometimes you overcoach things to make it hard when it's really, really simple. This game is simple. There's not too much to it. It's all about doing the right things at the right time."

New Orleans Saints defeat Atlanta Falcons 22 - 16 in the Superdome

October 21, 2007 - NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - The New Orleans Saints beat the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 22 - 16 even though the Saints lost the turn-over battle 0 - 1. The turn-over battle was even at 1 - 1. Welcome back Joe Horn!

The New Orleans Saints are minus nine (-9) in the turn-over ratio battle through their first 6 games. In the New Orleans Saints two wins this season, they broke even in the turn-over battle. So in the New Orleans Saints four losses, they are minus nine (-9). If the New Orleans Saints can break even in the turn over battle, they will win the game. The New Orleans Saints win-ability is directly proportional to the New Orleans Saints turn-over ratio.

New Orleans Saints lose to Carolina Panthers 13 - 16

October 7, 2007 - CHARLOTTE, North Carolina. New Orleans Saints lose to Carolina Panthers 13 - 16. New Orleans Saints have no wins and four losses. How did the Saints do in previous seasons with 0 - 4 starts? New Orleans Saints previous 0 - 4 starts.

New Orleans Saints lose to Tennessee Titans 14 - 31

September 24, 2007 - NASHVILLE, Tennessee. WOW!!! ... that's WOW in a BAD way ... the New Orleans Saints are 0 - 3 ... losing to the Colts 10 - 41 and the Buccaneers 14 - 31 and the Titans 14 - 31 ... hmmm ... maybe we were premature in our predictions of a New Orleans Saints SuperBowl ... I believe I must re-evaluate; I want a recount; I renege; I need to re-staff; whatcha think? ... this season sucks! Bobby Hebert - you are safe for another year ... you're straight. The only thing that sucks more than the News Orleans Saints is Rex Grossman and the Chicago Bears!

Deuce McAllister blew out his other knee in the New Orleans Saint's loss to the Titans 14 - 31. I don't think Deuce will play much more for the New Orleans Saints again.

Sean Payton: your success is dependent on two words: Pierre Thomas. The New Orleans Saint's success lies in the hands of running-back Pierre Thomas. With veteran running-back Deuce McAllister out-for-the-season with a blown-out knee, my eyes are on Pierre Thomas.

Saints defensive end Charles Grant says things will get better. He is predicting the defense will step it up. Charles Grant said, "I promise you both ends will finish with double-digit sacks." According to the NFL statistics, the Saints don't have any sacks yet this season through three games. Hey, Charles, remember what you said on June 1st (below), "The Saint's defense is going to be better than the Dome Patrol!" ... hmmm ... very interesting.

Reggie Bush - think about running North-South instead of East-West. The is no rushing title for 50 yard runs from sideline-to-sideline for a net gain (loss) of minus 2 yards. Think about it - REGGIE!!!

August 26, 2007 - Charles Grant was asked, "Complete this sentence: The Saints will finish this season ..." Charles replied, "In Arizona. Anything less would be uncivilized." The New Orleans Saints are going to the Superbowl! Bobby Hebert - Get your dress and high heels ready!

January 15, 2007 - Buddy D, the ultimate New Orleans Saints fan, once said, "When you go to Heaven after you die, tell St. Peter you're a Saints fan. He'll say, 'C'mon in, I don't care what else you done, you suffered enough.'"

Bernard "Buddy" Diliberto pledged on numerous occasions to his listeners that he would wear a dress on Bourbon Street if the Saints ever reached the Super Bowl. Annually, the New Orleans Saints faithful fans would tease Buddy about his promise to wear a dress if the Saints ever won a Super Bowl. He never got close to having to make good on that promise, though, as we all know, he certainly wished for that walk on Bourbon Street in a dress.

When Buddy died in 2005, Bobby Hebert, The Cajun Cannon, took over his radio show; he also took over the promise. Now it is up to Bobby Hebert to carry on this tradition. Bobby Hebert has said on-air numerous times that he will fulfill Buddy's promise. If the Saints do get to the Super Bowl, Bobby Hebert would wear a dress and walk down Bourbon Street in honor of the late Diliberto. As Bobby Hebert has said over the airways during the 2006 New Orleans Saint's season, "I will be 'twitching' in high-heals down Bourbon Street."

In mid-January 2007, the New Orleans Saints made it to within one (1) win of going to the Superbowl. Bobby Hebert joked about the challenge, "There's a group called 'Buddy's Broads' and they want to march in the dresses in the Mardi Gras parades, but I told them it was a one time deal. I'll have no problem finding a dress, I'm sure they will have quite the selection. The challenge for them will be finding me some heels to fit my feet."

Well, We won't see Bobby Hebert in a dress this year due to the 39 - 14 New Orleans Saints loss to the Chicago Bears in the NFC Championship. Bobby Hebert has said on-air that he is kind of relieved. He had visions in his head about second-lining and twirling the umbrella while doing the jig. Maybe next year!
