Jim Henderson: "Saints are going to win the Super Bowl"

Jim Henderson (New Orleans Saints, play-by-play)

Feb 6, 2010 - Miami, Florida - The New Orleans Saints win the Superbowl! Jim Henderson is a genius!

Jan 24, 2010 - New Orleans, LA - "IT'S GOOD, IT'S GOOD, IT'S GOOD!!! PIGS HAVE FLOWN!! HELL HAS FROZEN OVER!!! THE SAINTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL"!!!

Aug 7, 2009 - New Orleans, LA - New Orleans Saints play-by-play commentator, Jim Henderson predicts, "Saints are going to win the Super Bowl. I don't see anybody stopping these guys (the offense), with all the weapons that they've got. Last year they had 17 guys on I.R. (injured reserve) at the end of the season. You gotta figure the law of averages is going to make for a more fruitful, productive and healthy year than that. If they can stay healthy offensively I don't know who can stop them." According to Henderson, wide receiver Marques Colston is going to play a big part in the run to the championship: "Colston, I think, is going to have a huge year. If he stays healthy, the way he looks, I think he is just going to have a gigantic year." However, Henderson thinks the running back is a concern: "It's still an unsettled position, that's still an area of concern as it was last year."

Henderson voiced his prediction today on WWL radio, 870 AM, telling WWL's Deke Bellavia to write it down: "Put it right there, The Saints are going to win the Super Bowl."

Concerning the defense, Henderson said the new defensive coordinator is making a big difference: "I think with Greg Williams, you're going to see a lot more pressure, you're going to see a lot more chances being taken and you're going to see a lot more turnovers." Henderson says the defensive backfield is vastly improved: "I think the secondary will be a whole lot better." Henderson cautions about the big boys on defensive: "I'm still concerned about the defensive tackle position. I think that's kind of thin."

Get out your dress & heels Bobby Hebert, the New Orleans Saints are going to the Superbowl!

Note: Buddy's Broads thinks the only thing that can stop the New Orleans Saints from going to the Suberbowl is their coach, Sean Payton. If Coach Payton makes bad coaching decisions, which he has been prone to do in the past, then the Saints are toast.

Update: Jan 16, 2010 - So far, so good. If things continue as they are, then the New Orleans Saints will go to the Suberbowl. Coach Sean Payton is coaching them up and doing a great job! Keep up the great work!
