New Orleans Saints Offensive Tackle Jermon BushrodNew Orleans Saints top-ranked offense BushrodJanuary 24, 2010 - New Orleans, Louisiana. The Saints are NFC Champions, beating the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 31 - 28 in Drew Orleans, Lou-Brees-iana. The Saints won the football game in over-time on a 40 yard field-goal by Garrett Hartley! It was ridiculous with the number of turn-overs! The Saints should have starting putting the game away, but the Vikes kept hanging around. The Vikes couldn't hold onto the ball & their offensive line looked like they were going to get Brett Favre killed. It really looked like a retirement party in the Superdome for #4. It was a great win for the Saints, but you gotta give Brett Favre credit for being one tough customer, sorry he goes out on an interception, but glad to see the Saints in the Super Bowl! Jared Allen? Where was Minnesota Viking defensive end, #69, Jared Allen? New Orleans offensive tackle, #74, Jermon Bushrod, kept Jerod Allen in his place all night! Allen never got to Drew Brees and only accounted for two (2) defensive tackles all night for the Vikings. Our hats-off to Jermon Bushrod. Way to go Jermon! |
